Safety Sciences and Environmental Engineering Career Fair

The annual Ģtv Safety Sciences and Environmental Engineering Career Fair will be on September 25, 2025.

There will be a Meet and Greet event with the students on the evening of Wednesday, September 24, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

On Thursday, September 25, there will be a luncheon for recruiters at 11:00, and the Career Fair will run from 12:00 to 2:30. Rooms for interviewing students will be held following the career fair on September 25 and all day on September 26, if interested.

Safety Sciences Mourns Passing of Robert McClay, Jr.

It is with deep regret that the Department of Safety Sciences announces the passing of Robert McClay, Jr., who joined Ģtv in the summer of 1972 as the first tenure-track faculty member in the newly formed Department of Safety Sciences.

Safety Sciences Salutes Students and Faculty

The Department of Safety Sciences congratulates its fall 2020 Provost Scholars. To be named a Provost Scholar, students must have earned a minimum of 45 semester hours at Ģtv with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Provost Scholar recognition is given only once during a student’s time of study at Ģtv.
