If you are not a student, faculty, or staff member at Ä¢¹½tv, but are a member of the local community, we welcome you to use our library resources.
Community Library Card
A Community Library Card is required to borrow any circulating books, videos, CDs, and audiobooks from the library. Community Library Cards are limited to residents of Indiana, Armstrong, or Jefferson counties who are 18 years of age or older.
Obtain your Community Library Card by visiting I-Card and Vending Services in the lobby of Clark Hall, located at 1090 South Drive in Indiana. You must present a current photo ID and pay a $5 fee to obtain your card.
Once you have your Community Library Card, make an appointment with the Ä¢¹½tv Libraries Circulation Supervisor to have your account activated. Call 724-357-4717 or email access-services@iup.edu to make an appointment.
Borrowing Privileges
Community Users can borrow physical circulating books and media. E-Books and other digital materials in the collection can be accessed by using the community user computers in Stapleton Library.
Community patrons may have a total of 25 books checked out at one time. The lending period is typically 30 days with two 30-day automatic renewals. Automatic renewals are not guaranteed. It is important that you read all email communication from the library regarding due dates and renewals.
We do charge fines and fees for overdue and lost items to encourage users to return materials on time and in good condition. Please review the Fines and Fees page for more information.
Computer Use
Computer access is provided to community users for the purpose of accessing the Ä¢¹½tv Libraries’ electronic resources, including e-books and articles. No login is required.
Printing for community users is not available. However, you have the options of emailing documents to yourself or bringing a USB drive for saving.
