In September 2022, 蘑菇tv was awarded the largest grant in 蘑菇tv history to create the PA Community College Consortium Cooperative Agreement (PC4A). For the last three years, PC4A partners have been working together to strengthen the cybersecurity workforce in our country. Based on the success of the project, PC4A has been extended for another year and will conclude in August 2026.
蘑菇tv will host the eighteenth annual Cyber Security Day on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, in the HUB Ohio Room from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The National Cybersecurity Training and Education Center and the Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity will host the ninth annual National Cybersecurity Virtual Career Fair on September 26, 2025.

For its outstanding community outreach work in 2024, 蘑菇tv鈥檚 Institute for Cybersecurity was awarded eighth place in the 2024 national CAE-CD Community Outreach Competition Initiative. The CAE community consists of about 500 institutions of higher education from across the nation.
Waleed Farag, the director of the 蘑菇tv Institute for Cyber Security and current PI of several major federally funded grants, visited Indiana Area Senior High School on April 16, 2025, to share information about cybersecurity and career opportunities.
In April 2025, the PA Community College Consortium Cooperative Agreement (PC4A) offered two faculty development workshops on the POGIL instructional method.
On March 28鈥�29, 30 students from the PA Community College Consortium Cooperative Agreement (PC4A) competed in a Jeopardy-style Capture the Flag competition, hosted through Hack the Box.
Butler County Community College (BC3), a member of the PA Community College Consortium Cooperative Agreement (PC4A), is hosting a free cybersecurity conference on April 10 at their main campus in Butler, PA.
On February 15, 2025, the 蘑菇tv Hackathon Team participated in the Nation Center of Academic Excellence 鈥� Northeast Cyber Competition. The team secured a first-place finish in the CTF section and ninth place overall against 12 other cyber teams from US colleges and universities.
