
Rolling Admissions, Simple System Makes Applying Easy
Admission to our on-campus program is made on a rolling basis, but preference is given to those who apply by March 15.

Here’s what we’ll need (visit our graduate admissions page for information on each of these required items):
- The online application
- The nonrefundable $50 application fee
- Official transcripts from every college or university attended
- A goal statement: Tell us about your professional life to date, why you want to pursue a graduate degree in criminology and criminal justice, and your future career plans.
- Two letters of recommendation: Your recommenders receive an online request to submit a recommendation for you.
Criminology and Criminal Justice MA Program Requirements
The master’s program is designed for both full-time and part-time students. To graduate, you are required to complete 30 semester hours. On-campus students choose between a thesis and non-thesis curriculum. The thesis option requires you to work with a faculty member to develop an independent research project. Online students complete the non-thesis curriculum track.
