Attend the open session with Dr. Terry Rhodes, Vice President of the Office of Quality, Curriculum and Assessment at the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) to explore the ways in which Ä¢¹½tv's recent reaffirmation of accreditation with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, strategic planning, and visioning processes have demonstrated the need for greater integration of assessment efforts across departments, divisions, and the university.

Ä¢¹½tv has a new university Vision Statement and Strategic Plan, and has recently earned reaffirmation of accreditation with Middle States. All of these efforts are essential to Ä¢¹½tv's success as an institution, but do all Ä¢¹½tv community members have a shared conceptual vision of how we measure success? Can we articulate a shared vision of what our students should be learning, and do we know when these learning goals have been achieved? Can we show external stakeholders and critics the value of the Ä¢¹½tv experience? How can student learning outcomes assessment help Ä¢¹½tv to take the next step toward excellence?
Join us at an open session with Dr. Rhodes on Thursday, October 20 to discuss how Ä¢¹½tv can move forward in student learning outcomes assessment.
