This summer, 14 faculty and staff members completed the Virtual Life Design Studio training with funding by Ä¢¹½tv’s Title III grant through the U.S. Department of Education and organized by the University College, where Ä¢¹½tv’s Title III Program is housed. Ä¢¹½tv now has a total of 24 Life Design trained employees, many of whom are teaching UNIV 101: First Learning Year course which is infused with Life Design principles.

Life Design is a creative, human-centered problem-solving framework. It was pioneered by two Stanford University faculty members, Dave Evans and Bill Burnett, who are also notable designers in their own right as well as Stanford alumni. . The Stanford University’s offers in-person and virtual training opportunities every year. The University College is committed to training faculty and staff through Life Design.
