The Indiana Concert Band of the Ä¢¹½tv Community Music School will present its fall concert on Thursday, December 9, at 7:30 p.m. in Gorell Recital Hall (second floor of Sutton Hall).
The band is lead by Ä¢¹½tv music professor Jason Worzbyt and includes a terrific mix of players, to include regional music educators and students, Ä¢¹½tv faculty and students, and community members.
Selections from the concert band repertoire include “The American Red Cross March” by Louis Panella; “Simple Song” by Patrick Burns; “Folk Song Suite” by Ralph Vaughan Williams; “The Immovable Do” by Percy Grainger; Symphonic Dance No. 4 “Square Dance” by Clifton Williams; and “Strange Humors” by John Mackey.
Admission is $5 regular and $3 seniors, I-Card holders, students, and children. Tickets will be available at the door one hour prior to the performance and are cash/check only.
