I am pleased to tell you that Steve Markiewicz has been selected to serve as director of Facilities Maintenance and Operations, effective immediately.
Since accepting the interim director position in April, Steve has done an excellent job, providing a seamless leadership transition for the Facilities Maintenance and Operations area.
Steve has been a valued member of the Ä¢¹½tv Facilities Management team since May 2022, when he joined the university as associate director of planning and construction. He came to Ä¢¹½tv from Westmoreland County Community College, where he was director of maintenance and construction. He also worked as a facilities manager for Elliott Turbo in Jeannette and as director of maintenance for Clelian Heights School.
